Texprocess Americas
University of Georgia 
The University of Georgia (UGA), Athens, GA/USA, will serve as the Official Academic Partner for the upcoming edition of Texprocess Americas, returning to Atlanta, GA/USA, on May 12-14, 2020. The event will be co-produced by the trade association Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA) Raleigh, NC/USA, and will once again be co-located with Techtextil North America.
After the successful relationship between Techtextil North America and North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2019, it was clear that Texprocess Americas and UGA could utilize the same model to help in providing advanced industry exposure to the next generation of textile industry professionals.
The multi-faceted partnership will utilize expertise from the university’s faculty and staff to provide educational opportunities for all Texprocess Americas attendees. Exhibiting and visiting companies will be provided with direct access to the latest research from the world’s leading materials programs. The university will gain exposure for the its undergraduate and graduate research programs and their industry contributions through special feature areas on the Texprocess Americas show floor, and will shine a spotlight on the high level of global innovation and industry development coming from all levels of the North American textile and sewn products industries.
