The product family of Grilon fibers and thermoplastic bonding yarns includes copolyamide, copolyester, bicomponent fibers and abrasion-resistant polyamide fibers, e.g. for the paper machine industry. The thermoplastic bonding fibers and yarns are used to modify textile structures and to stabilize prepregs for composites.
Nexylon high performance PA 66 fibers are processed to high-quality nonwovens and spun yarns. Important application areas are technical textiles and flame-resistant protective clothing as well as workwear and uniforms.
