Liquid dispersion permanently improves fit

07.11.2019 The producer of market-driven innovations for the apparel industry The Lycra Company, Wilmington, DE/USA, will be showcasing Lycra FitSense technology for swimwear for the first time at the trade show MarediModa, from November 5-7, 2019, in Cannes/France.

The Lycra brand is official sponsor of the exhibition, dedicated to fabrics and accessories for swimwear, underwear, beachwear, and athleisure categories.
Lycra FitSense technology is a patented water-based dispersion that includes the same molecule as the elastane fiber Lycra. The solution is screen printed in patterns or color blocks onto swimwear made with Lycra Xtra Life fiber for additional functional benefits including a stay-in-place fit and lightweight, targeted support wherever it is needed most. Another advantage of Lycra FitSense technology is that it may eliminate the need for bulky, sewn-in panels or extra seams that can restrict movement in and out of the water and cause wearer discomfort.
